Get to know Sri Kanchai Sword

“Sari Kanchai” This word is written in the old Lanna alphabet, pronounced as “Sa-Li-Kan-Chai”, some use “Sari Kanchai”, referring to the magic sword of the Bodhisattva. It is now known as the Holy Sword. At the old sacred monk have mercy blessed and constructed as a potent amulet to defend their worshiped students. It can be said that it is the best of Lanna magic. It is a high class subject of the North that has it all.

The story has been told…

The Sri Kanchai sword (real size) has been used for a long time during the Old Period of Lanna and Ayuthaya still are enemies to each other. During that time, their beliefs in magic and unseeable power were strong. They fight each other not only by real weapons but using magic weapons and mantra to defeat each other. Sri Kanchai sword has been made from 2 different Kingdoms with 2 different styles by ancient mighty masters.

However, neither kingdom ever overcame the other and were vanquished by other Burmese. From time to time, people still believed in the story and made a small amulet to worship and inherit as they think it will protect them from dangerousness and enemy, especially dark magic.So this is where the Sri Kanchai sword came from.
