What is candlestick?
A candlestick is a device used to hold a candle in place. Before the proliferation of electricity, candles were carried between rooms using a chamberstick, a short candlestick with a pan to catch dripping wax.
An old-fashioned that is not out of fashion!
Although electric lighting has phased out candles in much of the world, candlesticks and candle holders are still used in homes as decorative elements or to add atmosphere on special occasions.
What is candlestick used for?
The primary function of candle holders is to provide a secure and safe base for candles and to avoid candle drippings.
Candlestick does not stick to only candles!
Candlesticks are capable of more than just holding candles. They can be multifunctional. Candles make the perfect backdrop and set the mood for your spaces. Thus, candlesticks are home decorations to create a room atmosphere.
But candlesticks can be used as a decorative item as well. Just set an artificial or live plant or flower on top of your candle holder, and you instantly have a stunning piece of decor. This is an easy way to turn a simple candle into a whole piece of decor on its own.
Who says you need a special occasion to light some candles? This small pillar candlestick can let you create a cosy atmosphere anytime.
