Passakorn Pachana
(ภาสกร แพชนะ)
‘Passakorn Pachana’ known as ‘Winner One’ graduated with a 2nd class honors with a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts, Major in Thai Arts at Silpakorn University. He was born and grew up in the Fisherman Village in Surat Thani Province, Southern Thailand. Passakorn is currently living and creating his art in Nakhon Pathom Province where he accumulates his useful skills for his art career path.

Life can always find inspiration
From purpose to convey aesthetics of impressions, experiences towards life’s stories, culture, beliefs, love, people and spirits.
Passakorn communicate his impression through the variety of shapes on his paintings, along with the significance of natural the local environment such as farm, village, seas, rivers, canals, forests related to the way of living of people.
Depicting and conveying moments of joy and simplicity which is a connection to the perfection of nature that has created the beauty to the way of life is how his inspiration comes from / the main purpose of creating artwork.


12 Years of Art exploring life
“It start from junior high school” – said Passakorn. “My life somehow was connected with art. At that time. a teacher persuaded me to join art club to learn and to create art which i suddenly fell in love with it since then”- He continued. During the junior year, Passakorn had practiced his technique and had applied to many art contests to test his skills.
Life changed again. During the high school, Passakorn Pachana continued his education at Nakhon Si Thammarat Technical College, a college that nurtured the best and most skilled art children at this point. In the school, he had a chance to experienced many types of art such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, Thai art, design, pottery and academic technique which make him found what suits him the most.
After graduating from the College of Fine Arts Nakhon Si Thammarat, Passakorn got a chance to continue his study in the popular school of art in Faculty of Painting, Sculpture and Graphic Arts Silpakorn University for 5-year course. During his 1st to 3rd year, he seriously trying to understand what exactly is his technique and style.
Then he decided to choose a major in Thai arts because he was fascinated with Thainess, identity, lifestyle, and culture.
How was your life during studying in Thai Art Major?
“As my family are fisherman in Surat Thani and i’ve been growing up and learn about their traditional and culture, throughout the study period majoring in Thai arts, Most of my artworks take inspiration from the family and represent the culture and lifestyle of fisherman village” – Said proudly Passakorn.
Even while studying, I still have a drawing contest on various stages and show my work all the time. Make the work known and people like the work and Have some income while studying


What do you see yourself after graduate or 10 years after?
“After graduated, I intend to pursue a career path as an artist and continue making art. I’ve seen many of my friends and my colleagues become well-known and famous which encouraged me to continue making arts.
Moreover, No matter how sad or disheartened, happy i had been through. I’ve got a good encouragement from my family which makes me wants to continue and achieve my goals for them.
